Mayor's Choice Award
Wasaga Beach's Mayor, Nina Bifolchi was on hand today to select her favorite entry from this year's event.
A 1957 Dodge W-100 4X4 Pick-up Truck owned by Donald Tannybok of Caledon, Ontario was the recipient of todays award.
New for this year's FUN RUN event, an award entitled "Just Because We Like It", rather self expanatory I'd say!
The very pleased recipient was Chris Herrndorf of Huntsville, Ontario for their 1967 Camaro Convertible.
A car loaded with history, made history today with the Wasaga Beach Cruisers at the Annual Fun Run Event.
Best In Show Category Winner is this 1919 Buick, lovingly restored and owned by Dale and Mary McKean of Durham, Ontario. Originally from Alberta, as their placard describes this car may have been involved in some 1920's Bootlegging enterprises.
Hence the title. 1919 H44 Whiskey Six. See placard posted below for details.
